Market Commentary: Market opens with a positive gap - 1 |

As expected, the market opened with positive gap of 49 points. Infosys opened at Rs3,900 and went up to a high of 3,950. It currently quotes at Rs3,899, up Rs85.
Cement stocks continue their good show. L&T is currently quoting Rs5 up at Rs236.40. ACC is up Rs3.35 at Rs160.50. Grasim at Rs318.50 is up Rs5.
Reliance (RELI.BO, news) Petroleum has been a big mover today. It quotes up Rs3 at Rs52.35. Amongst other refinery stocks, BPCL is up 2% at Rs216.
Hero Honda (HROH.BO, news) is up for the second consecutive day. It is already up 14.5% at Rs155.
Wipro (WIPRd.BO, news) which missed the party yesterday, is up 5% at Rs1,540. However, Satyam is up only Rs2 at 235.45.
The Sensex is now at 3631, up 30 points from its previous close.
