Axerra Networks Names Gil Itkin Vice President, Sales - APAC; Brings Over 15 Years of Telecommunications Expertise to Axerra's Asian Office

Boca Raton, Fla., United States, Tuesday, April 19, 2005 -- (Business Wire India) -- Axerra Networks, "The Pseudo-Wire Company(TM)" and the leading provider of circuit emulation and service emulation solutions, today announced the appointment of Gil Itkin as Vice President, Sales - APAC.

Mr. Itkin comes to Axerra Networks with over 15 years' experience and a superior track record in serving the telecommunications market throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Axerra, Gil Itkin served as Managing Director, APAC of XACCT Technologies, Ltd., where he was instrumental in expanding sales and establishing strategic partnerships with major telecommunications companies in Japan, Korea, Singapore, India, and Australia. Previously, Mr. Itkin was General Manager of RAD Data Communications Far East where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of telecommunications solutions. Gil Itkin holds an engineering degree from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Asian Studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
