Reliance GDR up 1.35%

The Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 0.21 per cent to 1118.34 on April 20 in early morning trades. Among ISDI global depository receipts (GDRs), four advanced and three lost ground. The major gainers were Reliance (RELI.BO, news) , which was up 1.35 per cent to $23.99, Ranbaxy, up 0.96 per cent to $21.99 and Hindalco (HALC.BO, news) , up 0.35 per cent to $28.30. The losers were L&T, down 4.15 per cent to $21.50, SBI, down 1.17 per cent to $37 and ITC (ITCd.BO, news) , down 0.64 per cent to $31.10. The ISDI, which tracks the ADRs and GDRs of 15 actively-traded companies closed down 0.05 per cent to 1115.67 on April 19 and was trading at a price to earnings multiple of 17.85, which was down 0.16 per cent. Among the ISDI ADRs and GDRs, six advanced and two lost ground. The major gainers were VSNL, up 4.59 per cent to $8.88, HDFC Bank (HDBK.BO, news) , up 3.10 per cent to $43.20 and MTNL (MTNL.BO, news) , up 1.29 per cent to $6.30. The losers were Infosys, down 1.63 per cent to $60.17 and Wipro (WIPRd.BO, news) , down 0.44 per cent to $18.03.
