IFGL Refractories to raise resources

IFGL Refractories Ltd plans to raise resources for its growth programme, according to a release. The SK Bajoria group company is engaged in the manufacture of specialised refractories for the iron and steel industry. Demand for IFGL products has been on the rise and therefore the company plans to strengthen and expand production, marketing and distribution in the domestic and international markets. Growth will be either through brown field expansion or new acquisitions. The company is chalking out details of financial requirements. A resolution to raise resources through issuance of securities or borrowing was passed at the AGM on Friday. At the meeting, shareholders also approved payment of 17.5% dividend on equity shares for fiscal 2006-07. This is the fifth consecutive year the company has paid dividend.
