General insurance: SBI shortlists six companies

State Bank of India (SBI) has shortlisted 5-6 private companies for its foray into general insurance. Chairman OP Bhatt said a partner would be picked by the end of the fiscal. Village Majhdaha in Nadia district has been adopted under the 'SBI Ka Apna Gao' scheme. Bhatt was in Krishnanagar for the programme and distributed 3000 Kisan Credit Cards.
