CMC Q2 net up 93 pc at Rs 23 cr

Software services company CMC Ltd posted 92.62 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 23 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 11.94 crore for the same quarter last year. The total income of the group increased 13.60 per cent to Rs 275.21 crore for the quarter ended September 30, from Rs 242.25 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company recorded a profit after tax of Rs 21.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as against Rs 10.35 crore for the same quarter of the previous year. The total income of the company grew to Rs 252.80 crore for the September quarter from Rs 222.92 crore for the period under consideration a year ago.
