Sterlite Industries (India) Limited to Announce Fourth Quarter and Full Year Results on 26 April 2008 |

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Wednesday, April 23, 2008 -- (Business Wire India) -- Sterlite Industries, India's leading diversified mining and metal company with interests and operations in aluminium, copper, zinc and lead and commercial power will announce its results for the fourth quarter and year ended 31 March 2008 on Saturday, 26 April 2008. The results will also be available on the company's website, www.sterlite-industries.com.
Following the release, there will be a conference call for the US and European investors and analysts on Monday, 28 April 2008, where members of the senior management will comment on the company's performance. This event will also be webcast live on the internet and an archive can be accessed at www.sterlite-industries.com shortly thereafter.
