Videocon plans $1.4 bln power project

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Videocon Group is planning to invest 60 billion rupees ($1.4 billion) in a 1,000-megawatt hydro power project in north India, Chairman Venugopal Dhoot told reporters.

The group was in talks with potential partners in the United States, he said.
