Indian shares rebound after sliding early |

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Indian shares rebounded from a nearly 3 percent early fall to briefly turn positive on Thursday afternoon, with Bharat Heavy Electricals and Bharti Airtel leading the recovery.
At 2:35 p.m., the benchmark 30-share BSE index was down 0.29 percent at 15,140.99, with 14 stocks gaining, after rising 0.13 percent.
The index had opened 1.5 percent lower and had fallen as much as 2.9 percent in the morning.
