NEW DELHI (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex (^BSESN : 16021.99 -20.19) index provisionally fell 0.91 percent on Wednesday, amid worries over a deteriorating world economy and uncertain fund flow outlook.
The 30-share main BSE index provisionally lost 87.90 points to 9,598.85, with 25 components in red.
Satyam (SATYAM.BO : 98.5 +0.95) recovered most of its early losses to provisionally close 1.1 percent lower, having tumbled as much as 18.3 percent earlier. For related story, see:
