Low rainfall dampens cotton production

Abohar, August 29 (ANI): Scanty rainfall and lack of proper irrigation facilities have badly affect the cotton crop in Abohar in Punjab. The rainfall in the region has been way below average, due to which, there has been decrease in the area of cultivation. The farmers are complaining of government apathy. They allege that there is no proper irrigation system and their problems remain unsolved despite their visits to various government departments.
