BSE Sensex provisionally closes down 0.4 pct
MUMBAI (Reuters) – The BSE Sensex (^BSESN : 16035.25 -6.93
) provisionally fell 0.4 percent on Friday, led by losses in export-led software companies on expectations the rupee may appreciate more in 2010 and hurt their profits.
The 30-share BSE index provisionally ended down 0.42 percent, or 74.75 points, at 17,540.97, with 14 components losing.
The 50-share NSE (^NSEI : 4781.5 -11.15
) index provisionally closed down 0.3 percent at 5,247.75.
