BSE Sensex provisionally closes down 1.2 pct
MUMBAI (Reuters) – The BSE Sensex (^BSESN : 16632.01 -222.92
) provisionally closed 1.23 percent lower on Tuesday, having been down as much 3.82 percent earlier as concerns about Dubai's debt problems hit markets around the world.
The 30-share BSE index provisionally ended down 1.23 percent or 207.93 points at 16,647.00 with only six components gaining.
The 50-share NSE (^NSEI : 4941.75 -63.8) index provisionally closed down 1.25 percent at 4,943.05 points.
